The Company:
Our client is a leading paint manufacturer. Their Shildon site produces technical paints and coatings for the aerospace industry.
Salary:
40,000 - 50,000 per annum.
Location:
This role is located at our client's site in Shildon.
Maintenance Technician Role:
Your main duties will be:
- Carrying out preventative and reactive repairs in our client's manufacturing and distribution facility.
- Working on a variety of heavy, industrial and chemical manufacturing equipment.
- Assisting with installation and modification projects.
- Contributing to projects in manufacturing, including continuous improvement and safety projects.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have
- A level 3 apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical or maintenance engineering.
- Strong maintenance experience gained in a manufacturing environment.
- Expert knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of electrical maintenance and calibration is very desirable.
Our client can offer great training amongst a skilled team, so can consider applicants from other industries as long if they are willing to learn.
