A growing firm of Accountants in Shipley is seeking an Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients and support junior staff.
The role involves preparing statutory year-end accounts, management accounts, corporate and personal tax returns, and VAT returns.
Candidates should have at least 5+ years of experience in an Accountancy Practice and preferably be AAT Qualified.
The salary for this position ranges from £25,000 to £32,000 per annum, with flexible working hours and additional benefits like 25 days of annual leave.

We have a fantastic NEW opportunity for an Accountant to join a growing firm of Accountants based in Shipley. Offering a variety of services to a range of clients, you will have the opportunity to manage a portfolio of clients whilst supporting more junior members of staff. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts for a range of clients.
Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns.
Complete and review VAT returns.
Support with bookkeeping as and when required.

To qualify for the Accountant role, ideally you will meet the below:

Have at least 5+ years’ experience working as an Accountant in an Accountancy Practice.
AAT Qualified but individuals qualified by experience will be considered.
Feel confident liaising with clients and colleagues to assist in the growth of the firm.
