- Handle customer queries via telephone and email.
- Maintain and manage shared inbox communications.
- Provide pricing, quotes, and service information.
- Process customer bookings and input data into systems such as Multifreight and Cargowise.
- Liaise with customers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and agents.
- Check and send customer documentation, including producing bills of lading.
- Conduct networking and research to remain competitive.
- Providing customers with the highest service levels, to meet their quality, service, and price expectations.
- Anticipate and meet client needs through proactive communication and support.
- A minimum of 3 years experience within Import/Export Freight Forwarding is essential.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Industry-related qualifications are desirable.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proven ability to manage workloads, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- A proactive, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to overcome challenges.
- Self-motivated, conscientious, and a team player.
- Salary £27,000 - £32,000 pa DOE
