Ocean Freight Coordinator
Location: Bradford, UK (BD17)
Salary: 25,000 - 30,000

As an Ocean Freight Coordinator, you will be the linchpin between clients, carriers, and internal teams. You will manage the end-to-end process of sea freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery, accurate documentation, and exceptional service every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate import/export ocean freight shipments from booking to delivery
- Communicate with carriers, customs brokers, and overseas agents
- Prepare and review shipping documentation (B/Ls, invoices, packing lists, etc.)
- Track and monitor shipments to proactively resolve delays
- Provide regular updates and support to customers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company procedures
- Maintain accurate records in the freight management system
From You:
- Proven experience in ocean export operations, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight processes, shipping documents, and international trade regulations.
- Familiarity with shipping software and systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach.
