We have an exciting new opportunity for a Lift Technician to cover London and the Home Counties. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the lift attended comply with the current and applicable standards, operating as designed, reliably.

He/she deliver first line support to the field Maintenance and Repair engineers, ensuring relevant training of such to continue to maintain a safe operation and upskilled knowledge.

KeyResponsibilities
  • To keep abreast of all current changes or updates with regards to Health & Safety At Work regulations
  • To keep abreast of all current changes or updates with regards to the British Standards and EN compliance regulations
  • To keep abreast of equipment technical and product improvements
  • To ensure that all the test tooling is in good order and equipment is calibrated/indate.
  • To adjust support first line engineers with elevated technical investigation capability to close performance/technical knowledge gaps
  • To ensure all portfolio-maintained units are monitored to identify 'rogue’ units that are having excessive/repeat call backs,planning attendances with the maintenance engineer to resolve in full
  • Provide technical reports to Contract Managers/Head of Service and Repair on findingsand actions of each attendance to assist in client communication and closure
  • Identify potential training interactions and deliver upon design to improve capabilities of the complete business
  • Work directly with OEM/supply chain for thorough investigation,next steps and final closure of faults
  • Remain competent and aware of all technical tools that can assist in diagnosis and action clarification from multiple OEM’s

Experience and Qualifications

  • Must have multiple years demonstrable experience in role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • NVQ Level4 - Maintenance Technician
  • Varied knowledge of Public Sector specification lift installations and manufacturers
