Projects Coordinator / Manager
Shipley, Yorkshire

Howells are working with an established Fire & Security contractor operating across Yorkshire and the North-west. The Projects Coordinator / Manager role is an office-based role with occasional travel to site when required.

They specialise in in active fire and security solutions, offering an unparalleled level of knowledge & service in this sector built up over the last 40 years of trading.

To play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of various projects within the business. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate communication, coordinate tasks, and assist in project management to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope. You will work closely with the account managers, service manager, project managers, and team members to streamline project workflow efficiently and effectively.

Systems include fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, emergency lighting, and fire extinguishers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review specification and estimates for project handover.
  • Project planning and scheduling.
  • Communication with the client in arranging convenient appointments.
  • Resource Management in allocating and managing engineers.
  • Risk Management producing and ensuring RAMS are in place.
  • Quality Assurance monitoring project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standard.
  • Provide adequate and effective support for the installation engineers.
  • Ensuring completion of reports and handover documentation to client.
  • Report KPIs and review completed projects with the account managers.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Basic Salary up to 40K (Depending on Experience)
