We are seeking a talented and committed Teacher of Food Technology to join a secondary school in Bradford. You will teach Food Studies at KS3 and Hospitality and Catering at KS4.

Position Details
- Location: Bradford
- Contract: Long term Full time role (Jan 2025 - Dec 2025)
- Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates will be considered)
Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- A strong ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

- Create and deliver engaging and differentiated Food Technology lessons.

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging and inspiring Food Technology lessons for students of all abilities and ages.
- Teach Food Studies at KS3 and Hospitality and Catering at KS4.
- Developing student's practical skills and theoretical knowledge in Food Technology.
- Encouraging participation and a love for cooking and food among students.
- Assessing and providing feedback on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
- Contributing to the school's extracurricular activities, including food-related clubs and competitions.
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment in the Food Technology classroom.
- Collaborating with other teachers and departments to create a holistic and engaging learning experience for students.
- Staying up-to-date with current trends and developments in Food Technology.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Food Technology department.
