Meridian Business Support is currently recruitingfor a Private Healthcare Provider who are seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead their Care Home based in Shipley, West Yorkshire.

This is a well-established Residential Care Home dedicated to providing high-quality care and support for our residents. They pride themselves on creating a warm, welcoming, and homely environment where each individual is valued and respected.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Residential Care Home Manager with a strong background in leading from the front to ensure the highest standards of care are provided. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere for both residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
  • Manage, support, and develop a dedicated team of care staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and CQC standards.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and external agencies.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Handle recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Address and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential care setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
