A specialist equipment manufacturer in Abingdon is seeking skilled Assembly Operatives to meet increased customer demand.
The role involves wiring systems and products, as well as mechanical assembly of components, focusing on product quality and customer service.
Candidates should have basic wiring and hand soldering skills, previous assembly experience, and the ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a competitive salary based on experience.

Due to additional customer demand, a specialist equipment manufacturer in Abingdon require skilled Assembly Operatives, to assist with the manufacture of both standard and bespoke products.

You will be part of a small but skilled team who focus on product quality and quality of service to their customers.

Duties will include:

The wiring of systems and products, working from electrical drawings & instructions

The mechanical build and assemble of components and final systems assembly.

Skills & Experience:

Basic wiring and hand soldering skills ideal

Able to use hand tools

Previous assembly experience

Ability to effectively use power tools for assembly and disassembly tasks

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
