Supply Star Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Secondary School in South Warwickshire who require a Pastoral Lead to join their school. 

Pastoral Leadership:

  • Act as a Pastoral Lead, managing the well-being, behaviour, and personal development of a year group or house system.
  • Develop and implement pastoral strategies that support students’ social, emotional, and mental health.
  • Monitor and track attendance, punctuality, and behaviour, intervening where necessary to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and external agencies to support individual needs.
  • Deliver assemblies, workshops, and activities focused on personal development, resilience, and positive relationships.
  • Support the school’s safeguarding responsibilities, acting as a key point of contact for student welfare within your pastoral remit.

Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Work closely with the subject leads & Pastoral Team to ensure high-quality teaching and effective pastoral care.
  • Contribute to the school’s ethos by promoting respect, inclusion, and academic excellence.
  • Participate in staff training, meetings, and school-wide events, sharing best practices and contributing to whole-school initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor tutors assigned to your year group or house, providing guidance and oversight for pastoral activities

You must have experience working within a UK Secondary School to be considered for this role.
