QTS Music Teacher – Birmingham

Location: Birmingham
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, 8:15 am - 3:30 pm
Contract: Trial days are happening now!

Your Role
  • Teach Music – Deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4, covering a range of music topics including performance, composition, and music theory.
  • Differentiate Learning – Adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs and ensure progress for all students.
  • Foster Growth – Build positive relationships to support students’ academic and personal development.
  • Manage Behaviour – Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a productive learning environment.
  • Collaborate – Contribute to curriculum planning, assessments, and extracurricular activities to enhance student engagement.
What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a valid Teacher Reference Number (TRN).

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 months teaching experience in Key Stage 3 and GCSE Music.
  • Proven ability to create engaging and effective music lessons.
