MATHS TEACHER REQUIRED IN SOLIHULL

Smart Education is thrilled to collaborate with an outstanding school in Solihull, and we are actively searching for a dedicated Teacher to join the team immediately. This is a full-time position with excellent subject knowledge requirements and a focus on teaching from Year 7 to GCSE level.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): The successful candidate must possess QTS and demonstrate a passion for teaching mathematics.
  • Good Subject Knowledge: We are looking for a Teacher with a strong command of maths.
  • Experience with Challenging Behaviour: The ideal candidate should have experience working with challenging behaviour, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 55-minute lessons from Year 7 to GCSE level, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of each individual within the class
  • Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and academic progress.

Requirements:

  • Excellent core subject knowledge
  • Proven experience in managing and teaching students with challenging behaviour.
  • Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Enhanced DBS: All applicants must possess an Enhanced DBS check on the update service to ensure the safety and security of students.
  • References: The successful candidate should be able to provide 24 months of professional references, with a minimum of 6 months spent working in a UK school specifically supporting challenging behaviour.

Salary: £32, 245 - £43, 583 per annum 

Hours: 8:15 am - 3:30 pm  

Location: Solihull 

Start Date: January 2025 - ongoing with potential to go permanent
