Role Overview
SMART Education is currently recruiting a Secondary Drama Teacher to join a creative and supportive school environment in Birmingham. This position involves providing impactful drama instruction and additional support to students, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally through the arts.
- Start Date: January 2025, with immediate interviews and lesson observations available.
- Duration: Until the end of the academic year, part-time (Monday, Tuesday and Friday)

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality drama lessons that inspire student participation and creativity.
- Work collaboratively within the department to contribute to a positive learning environment.
- Assess, support, and enhance students’ academic performance and personal development.
- Actively participate in school activities and foster a supportive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience teaching in a secondary school environment.
- Demonstrated success in enhancing student engagement and attainment.
