We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Tutor to join our team. If you have a passion for helping students excel in their studies, this flexible role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on their academic success.

 

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the subject matter.
• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the national curriculum and cater to the unique learning needs of each student.
• Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods to maximise outcomes.
• Create an engaging learning environment that motivates students to excel.
• Maintain effective communication with parents or guardians to provide feedback on progress and address concerns.
• Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance.

 

Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Previous experience as a tutor, especially at the GCSE level, is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge in GCSE-level Maths and English, with the ability to teach other subjects being an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping students reach their academic goals.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.

 

Working Hours:
Flexible hours tailored to your availability. Both full-time and part-time options are available. The role includes 1 to 2 hours of planning time per student, depending on session length.
