Our client, a leader in the automotive sector, is currently seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing detailed structural analysis and simulations for automotive components and systems
- Developing and validating structural designs to meet safety, durability, and performance standards
- Collaborating with design teams to provide structural engineering expertise and guidance
- Conducting finite element analysis (FEA) and other relevant analytical methods
- Preparing and presenting technical reports, including analysis results and design recommendations
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Providing support throughout the product development cycle, from concept to production
- Participating in design reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Experience in structural analysis engineering, preferably within the automotive sector
- Proficiency in structural design and engineering principles
- Strong knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) tools and techniques
- Understanding of automotive materials and manufacturing processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams
- Relevant degree in engineering or a related field
- Attention to detail and ability to work within project deadlines
