Up to £32,000 entry point determined by experience

A New Product Developer is required for Hunters’ client, an extraordinarily successful, innovative and supportive creative products distributor working with leading brands. The New Product Developer will take on gifting products to develop and begin to own ranges from concept.

Permanent FT 37.5 hours a week - Monday to Friday

New Product Developer - the job

  • Identify new in-house and collaborative commercial products in line with brand guidelines
  • Managing and implementing the end-to-end product development process which is produced in time and to specification.
  • Liaising and negotiating with Far East suppliers, ensuring costs and production methods are correct based off customer briefs
  • Visiting relevant trade shows and and reporting back to the business

New Product Developer - the person

  • Degree in product design
  • Experience in a product design environment including working with Far East factories
  • Good knowledge of the product design process
  • A good understanding of licensing within product design and the process
