We are seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to join our team from the start of the term in January 2025 through to the Easter holidays, with the possibility of extension. This role involves full teaching responsibilities for KS3 and KS4, including planning and marking. The successful candidate will benefit from the support and guidance of our experienced maths team.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.
  • Plan and prepare lessons, assessments, and mark student work, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with the maths department to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must be a qualified Maths Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Proven experience in teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive learning environment that fosters enthusiasm and learning.
