Job Title: HV Commissioning Engineer

Pay Rate: 300 - 400 per day
Duration: 4 months

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced HV Commissioning Engineer to join our team for a 4-month project in Shotton, Flintshire. The successful candidate will play a critical role in commissioning and testing high-voltage (HV) systems to ensure they meet project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commissioning and testing of HV equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.
• Ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards during all phases of the commissioning process.
• Collaborating with project teams, clients, and third-party contractors to achieve project milestones.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.
• Documenting test results, maintaining records, and preparing commissioning reports.
• Supporting handover processes to the operations team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in HV commissioning roles.
• In-depth knowledge of HV systems, protection, and control schemes.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications (e.g., HV Switching, Electrical Engineering degree).
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in HV environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
