We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Electrical Fitter for a prominent position at a large Papermill in Shotton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to join a dynamic team working on essential electrical systems.
Location: Shotton, Papermill
Contract Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within the papermill.
- Work on both HV (High Voltage) and LV (Low Voltage) switchgear.
- Ensure electrical systems are operating to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and issues promptly.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience working with HV and LV switchgear.
- Qualified Electrical Fitter with relevant industry certifications.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience within the industrial or manufacturing sector (ideally papermills or similar).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
