Gas Engineer - Entry Level

10.00 - 12.21 per hour to start with + Overtime, On-Call & Van

We are looking for a recently qualified and entry-level Gas Engineer for a continually growing servicing company who are now looking for an additional Gas Engineer to join their team. This is an ideal career opportunity for a recently qualified gas engineer (someone like this is of high preference to the company) to join an ambitious business with further growth plans.

Covering across the Central Belt of Scotland so you must be happy and willing to travel good distances, they are looking for a self-motivated and qualified gas engineer who can work remotely to a daily programme of work in a role that you will always be kept very busy in.

You must be able to communicate effectively with all colleagues and customers to maximize efficiency in all operational duties with regards to providing servicing and repair of gas central heating and hot water systems in domestic (landlord and private) properties. You will be expected to interact professionally and courteously with the occupiers of the property in which you are carrying out your work, and you will need to develop good relationships with your colleagues.

Full ACS qualifications are essential along with some Domestic Heating Servicing and Repairs experience. A full driving licence is of course essential and a company vehicle will be provided to you. There will be a requirement for you to be rota`d to cover evening and weekends as part of the scheduled arrangements to provide an emergency call out service. Although the company plan their work-schedules in advance, the geographical area covered by its contracts and its obligation to provide a reactive repair service requires that all company engineers are willing to exercise a degree of flexibility.

The company would be looking to start you off on the living wage rate for your age group, and your salary would also be regularly reviewed during your time with the company and as you gain more experience.
