The Facilities Engineer is a key role for the business. Key responsibilities will be to assess Asset Health and create plans to effectively maintain / upgrade site Facilities equipment.

  1. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Broad base of engineering skills for effective technical support and maintenance of equipment/processes and is able to develop appropriate skills in others by effective leadership.
  • Ability to continuously improve own skill base through individual training, assessment and education programs and is able to develop appropriate skills in others by effective leadership
  • Ability to analyze technical problems and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Willingly embraces challenge and has a positive attitude to delivering results.
  • Fosters the understanding of the client/customer needs and integrates engineering support in meeting their requirements.
  • Understands the principles of effective maintenance and is effective at implementing the principles and maintaining the systems for full effectiveness.
  • Judges the technical complexity of the task/project, and matches appropriate resource to undertake accomplishment of that task/project.
  • Identifies and implements continuous improvements to improve business efficiencies.
  • Supports the effective integration of new machinery/technology and products/materials into Technical Operations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate within the operations using tools and technologies available
  • Ability to work to and set the highest standards in health and safety of self and colleagues. Capable of setting and maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping in all aspects of work.
  • Understanding of a range of engineering machines/processes functions within manufacturing.
  • Understanding and integration of customer needs to support business requirements.

Required:
