- Lead the financial reporting process for the audit team's expanding client base, ensuring effective project management.
- Prepare financial statements and tax computations for complex assignments and larger client groups within the audit team.
- Communicate effectively with both the audit team and clients to gather information, address queries, and resolve issues.
- Oversee the submission of approved financial statements and statutory tax returns, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and deadlines.
- Take a proactive approach in identifying opportunities to enhance client reporting and taxation, while also assessing potential needs for specialist advisory services.
- Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to junior team members, leveraging your knowledge and experience to aid their development.
- Review and provide feedback on the work of junior team members to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Be fully or partially qualified with ACCA or ACA.
- Possess a strong technical understanding of accounting standards, with a solid working knowledge of FRS 102.
- Have experience using CaseWare (preferred but not essential).
- Have experience in preparing charity accounts (desirable but not required).
