Reed Practice are proud to be recruiting for a top 100 practice that has been in operation for over 100 years. They are seeking to add an Accounts Senior to their esteemed team in their Shrewsbury office. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for project managing the financial reporting process for the audit team’s growing client base.
  • Preparing financial statements and tax computations for the audit team’s more complex assignments and larger groups.
  • Communicating effectively with the audit team and with clients directly to request information and resolve queries.
  • Submission of approved financial statements and statutory tax returns in accordance with reporting requirements and relevant deadlines.
  • Provide coaching, training and support to more junior team members.
  • Review the work of the more junior team members.

The Ideal candidate would have the following:

  • Be fully or part qualified with ACCA or ACA.
  • Strong technical understanding of accounting standards including a good working knowledge of FRS 102
  • Have the desire and ability to develop and grow within a forward-thinking and supportive environment.
