Role Responsibilities- Project manage the financial reporting process for a varied client portfolio
- Prepare financial statements and tax computations for complex assignments and larger groups
- Communicate effectively with the audit team and directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
- Submit approved financial statements and statutory tax returns in line with reporting requirements and deadlines
- Identify opportunities to improve client reporting and taxation, recommending advisory services as needed
- Coach, train, and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise
- Review work produced by junior staff, ensuring high standards and compliance

Candidate RequirementsThe ideal candidate will:
- Be self-motivated and a strong team player
- Hold or be working towards ACCA or ACA qualification
- Have a strong technical understanding of accounting standards, particularly FRS 102
- Possess previous experience preparing charity accounts (desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrate excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- Have strong communication skills, particularly in delegating and coaching junior team members
- Be experienced in using CaseWare or similar software (desirable)
- £38,000 to £48,000 pa
