- Lead Audits: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audits for a range of clients, ensuring adherence to UK GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant regulations.
- Mentorship: Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members, including providing on-the-job training and conducting performance reviews.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing queries, sharing audit findings, and offering actionable recommendations.
- Quality Control: Review financial statements and audit documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Directors and managers on audit planning and budgeting and identify opportunities for additional services and business development.
- Qualified Professional: ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent), with strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar audit role within public practice.
- Strong Communicator: Ability to build and maintain client relationships, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised and Proactive: Exceptional organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to developing your team.
