The Opportunity
As Group Financial Controller, you will report to the Group Finance Director and lead a talented team of financial professionals. Your role will be pivotal in streamlining processes, driving performance improvements, and ensuring robust financial health across all subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly management accounts and key performance indicators for all group businesses.
- Oversee cash flow planning, stocking finance, and audit acting as primary external audit liaison.
- Partner with operational leaders to enhance decision-making and financial outcomes, and lead budgeting.
- Drive system, process, and control improvements to support future growth.
- VAT, CIS and other regulatory reporting as required.
- Ensure full balance sheet reconciliations monthly for all companies.
- Quarterly high-level reforecasting
- Support projects such as acquisitions, investments, and expansions.
Your Profile
We are seeking a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with at least five years of relevant experience. You should be a confident leader, an effective communicator, and a proactive problem-solver. Previous experience in managing audits, cash, working with finance houses, and delivering process improvements is essential.
