Due to continued growth, a highly respected regional accountancy practice based in Shrewsbury require an Accounts Assistant for the Agricultural clients.

You will be an integral patron for locally based clients by being hands-on with the preparation and completion of financial accounts, collaborating closely with clients and delivering an added-value service, understanding their business objectives and ambitions while providing advice in relation to efficiencies, controls and processes.

About you:

  • AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA, ACA / ICAEW or equivalent
  • Previous experience in financial accounts from within an accountancy firm
  • IT skills including Excel and any accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc)
  • Highly organised with ability to develop and maintain business working relationships
