Senior Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer. Salary c£60k. Hybrid role

Working for an innovative, ambitious and rapidly expanding technical asset management consultancy that specialises in making existing buildings sustainable and they do this through a unique approach that combines building services engineering with dynamic simulation modelling, energy engineering, and their own unique data analysis software.

The role will include the responsibility to deliver the building services designs for principally refurbishment projects, with an emphasis on net zero carbon transition. Additionally, it offers the opportunity to innovate on existing industry processes and help shape their own unique software to support this.

With a bias towards mechanical engineering, you will have experience in the design of HVAC systems alongside a good general working knowledge of building services within the commercial property sector.

You will have the ability to conceptualise the best and most efficient way of detailing a design solution with due regard to ESG requirements and client aspirations, assisting in the delivery of all aspects of M&E services refurbishment and new installation projects; working to a programme, budget, and specification to include ongoing monitoring, commissioning and post occupancy evaluation processes

With an engineering degree and a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, they are ideally looking for candidates who are members of either CIBSE, IMechE or IET with three to five years post qualification experience and preferably an understanding of BIM processes including REVIT, COBIE and IES dynamic simulation modelling.
