E-Commerce Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and grow their online presence, drive digital sales, and enhance the customer journey.The Role:As an E-Commerce Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing a dynamic online strategy. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external agencies to optimise digital marketing, enhance the website experience, and maximise online revenue.Key Responsibilities:E-Commerce Strategy & Commercial Performance
  • Develop and implement an e-commerce strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Drive growth across direct-to-consumer platforms and online marketplaces.
  • Enhance website UX, product merchandising, and conversion rates.
  • Manage budgets effectively to maximise ROI across digital channels
Website & Content Management
  • Oversee day-to-day website management, ensuring accurate and engaging content.
Digital Marketing, CRM & Social Strategy 
  • Lead paid and organic digital marketing (PPC, SEO, email, and social media) to increase traffic and conversions.
  • Develop a CRM and email marketing strategy to drive retention and loyalty.
  • Manage social media strategy and collaborate with internal teams to produce engaging content.
  • Analyse campaign performance and leverage insights for continuous improvement.
 Agency & Stakeholder Management
  • Manage relationships with external agencies for web development, digital marketing, and design.
  • Collaborate with buying, sales, and customer service teams to align online activity with broader business goals.
Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Track key e-commerce KPIs including revenue, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics and CRM platforms to drive strategic decisions.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • 5+ years’ experience in e-commerce management, ideally within retail or a product-based industry.
  • Strong understanding of Shopify (or similar platforms like Magento or Woo Commerce), UX best practices, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, PPC, SEO, social media advertising, and email marketing platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and drive online revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating teams.
  • Experience working with external agencies for marketing, development, and design.
  • Commercially astute, with an analytical mindset and the ability to turn data into actionable strategies.
