Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of property transactions, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders involved in the conveyancing process.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Conduct thorough searches and investigations to ensure all legal requirements are met.
- Prepare and review contracts, transfer documents, and other legal paperwork.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to facilitate communication throughout the transaction.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal regulations.
- Provide clients with updates on their transaction status and respond to any queries they may have.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing property transactions.
Skills
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- 5+ years PQE in residential conveyancing
- Proficient IT skills for using conveyancing software and managing electronic documentation.
- Excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines effectively without compromising quality.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
