Call Handler/Administrator
Duration:Â 3-month Temporary Contract
Location: Shrewsbury (5 days in office)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours)
Rate: £13.68 hourly PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)
Responsibilities:
- To provide Admission and/or Reception Duties in various clinical areas
- Use the Trust’s Patient Administration System, within all areas of Health Records and Patient Access
- Develop and maintain a knowledge and expertise of all Health Records and Patient Access areas
- Develop and maintain effective communication skills to ensure a high-quality service is provided when liaising with patients, GP’s and all other internal and external contacts
- To operate and maintain an efficient and effective planning service for inpatient and outpatient appointment booking
Requirements:
- Good organisational skills
- Good keyboard skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication
