Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Primary School Teachers to join our educational team at Excell Supply. The ideal candidates will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment for young learners, guiding them through their early educational journey. This role requires a commitment to educating children, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively. The role is on a supply basis, working between a number of schools in Shrewsbury.
Responsibilities
- Educate students in core subjects such as literacy, numeracy, and social studies while integrating creative activities.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Employ behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong background in Early Childhood Education with a focus on developmental milestones.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students and parents.
- Proficient in behaviour management strategies to address various classroom dynamics.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs and learning styles.
- Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children through innovative teaching practices.
- Adaptability to working in various schools.
