A reputable company based in Shrewsbury is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a permanent position.
The role offers a salary of up to £45,000 plus benefits, with full-time hours from Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities include designing initial concepts, working with PLC, HMI, and SCADA software, and creating electrical schematic diagrams using CAD software.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of electrical engineering experience and 3 years in system design, along with strong electrical knowledge and proficiency in CAD.
Excellent communication skills and adaptability are essential, along with a good understanding of PLC systems, preferably Siemens.

We are working with a reputable company based in Shrewsbury who require an Electrical Design Engineer. The position is a permanent role paying up to £45,000 + Benefits.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday - Full Time

Key Reponsibilities:

Designing initial concept design
Working on PLC, HMI and SCADA software
Efficiently use CAD software to create Electrical Schematic Diagrams
Producing all required technical documents
Develop PLC wiring diagrams when required
Panel layouts
Machine safety circuit design and risk assessments

Key Requirements:

Good understanding of PLC, HMI and SCADA software
Siemens PLC knowledge preferable but knowledge of other similar systems considered
Strong electrical knowledge is essential
Must be Proficient in CAD
Able to understand electrical drawings
Excellent communication skills and adaptability are essential
System Design experience (3 years)
Electrical Engineering experience (5 years)
