They are looking for a Field Engineer with experience working on petrol or diesel engines (in any industry) to join their team. This is a permanent role, based in Shrewsbury.The Engine Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience working on petrol or diesel engines or motors in any industry
  • A background in servicing, maintenance, repair, refurbishment, fitting, installation, commissioning or similar
  • NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Able to work to Electrical Safety standards
  • Customer focussed with excellent communication skills
  • Proactive and organised
  • Holds a full UK driving licence
The Engine Service Engineer role will involve:
  • Working on engines at local customer sites
  • Installing, repairing and refurbishing motors and engines
  • Working to given processes and procedures
  • Communicating with customers effectively to provide a quality service
  • Determining the reason of reported issues, fault-finding and repair
  • Working accurately and efficiently
