My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Hydrogeologist to join an expanding Water and Environmental Team based in Shrewsbury.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrogeology and a keen interest in hydrogeology, hydrology and natural flood management.
Candidates are required to have a strong background in numeracy (preferably a strong A level or GCSE in Mathematics or Science) and a passion for hydrogeology, ground water, flood risk, modelling, mathematics and/or coding.
You will join a supportive and skilled team based in the heart of Shrewsbury and receive training by a skilled team.
As a Graduate Hydrogeologist you will also be trained complete the following;
-Surface Water, Ground Water and Contaminated Land projects.
-Hydrogeological Impact Assessments.
-Water quality analysis and sampling.
-Natural flood management and wetland restoration projects.
-GIS mapping.
-Hydrogeological modelling using Aquifer and Modflow.
Candidates will also be required to assist with flood risk and drainage projects.
