Your new companyHays are working alongside a company based in a growing role based in Shrewsbury who are looking for a Administrator to cover a role on a 7 month basis. This is an exciting varied role in which you will have exposure to a wide variety of duties.Your new roleAs the Events Administration Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative tasks that support the successful execution of our events. You will work closely with the conference production team, operations team, and other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of our events run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the events team.
  • Manage event-related correspondence and communications.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases for all event-related activities.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing event materials and documentation.
  • Oversee the shipping and handling of event materials and equipment to and from event locations.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for speakers, including flights, accommodation, and transportation.
  • Coordinate the shipping and receiving of event materials, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be considered for this role, you will need to be available to start immediately and have proven experience in the following:

  • Proven experience in event planning, administration, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Dynamics.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
