The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced practice professional to shape the future of the practice as Change & Transformation Director. In this pivotal role, you will a be results-driven leader with a passion for operational excellence and client care and you will collaborate with fellow Directors and Stakeholders to lead the change management programme and shape the strategic and operational direction of the practice. The Change & Transformation Director oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, and high-quality client service. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in driving the growth and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning: Formulate and execute operational strategies that align with the company's mission, values, and growth goals.
  • Operational oversight: Manage and refine workflows, allocate resources effectively, and adopt new technologies to boost efficiency and productivity, in collaboration with the IT and Innovation team.
  • Leadership and team development: Supervise Operational Department Managers, establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and motivate cross-departmental teams to achieve excellence.
  • Regulatory compliance and quality control: Ensure all operations adhere to relevant regulatory standards and uphold the highest quality of service delivery.
  • Client relationship management: Provide teams with the necessary skills and tools to strengthen client relationships, aiming for high satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Financial management: Work alongside the finance team to develop budgets, track financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Change leadership: Initiate and manage change initiatives to improve processes and enhance operational capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable success in a senior role within an accountancy practice or a comparable professional services setting.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a strategic approach to challenges.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accountancy practice operations, including compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Holding a relevant professional qualification (such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory.
