Join a dynamic family-owned business as the No 1 in Finance, responsible for overseeing the entire finance function.
This role requires a fully qualified candidate with experience in manufacturing, engineering, or construction, and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
You will manage a small team of 2 and be involved in strategic business partnering and presenting to the board.
The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Shrewsbury, offering a salary of £80,000 - £90,000 per annum.
The role is hybrid, requiring approximately 3-4 days in the office per week, and part-time applicants (minimum 3 days) will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

Whole finance function, overseeing financial reporting & forecasting, AR, AP, compliance & cashflow
Supporting the MD in setting & delivering business strategy
Monthly management accounts
Preparing the budget, driving improved profitability
Liaise with external accountants for annual financial statements
Present monthly financial report to the Board
Financial analysis, performance analysis & variance analysis
Cashflow & liquidity, developing strategies to optimize
Stock-take
Financial risk evaluation
Manage team of 2
