Job Purpose
  • Manage a predominantly corporate tax portfolio across compliance and advisory.
  • Preparation and review of corporate tax returns and computations.
  • Technical tax advice.
  • Lead technical research and developing reports.
  • M&A work.
  • Business development.
  • Conducting client meetings and nurturing enhanced client relationships.
  • Manage HMRC enquiries, liaising on behalf of clients.
  • Oversee junior staff, including workflow management, reviewing work, and providing training.
  • Build strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and resolving complex issues.
  • Keep up to date with taxation news and legislation.
  • Champion professional development, undertaking regular training opportunities.

Job Requirements
  • ATT/CTA qualified is desirable but not essential.
  • A minimum of five years tax experience within UK practice.
  • Knowledge of providing tax support to ex-pasts is desirable but not essential.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organised and able to manage own workload.
  • Self-motivated and reliable.
  • A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team.
  • Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency.
