Role responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of corporate clients, overseeing tax compliance and advisory work
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
- Providing tax planning support to clients on areas such as group structuring, R&D, capital allowances and transactions
- Liaising with HMRC and managing enquiries or investigations
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser
- Supporting the training and development of junior members of the tax team
- Contributing to business development and promoting the firm’s tax offering

Candidate requirements
- Educated to degree level and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
- Minimum of four years’ experience working within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and reporting requirements
- Proven ability to manage a client portfolio and provide commercial tax advice
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members is advantageous
