Food Production Operative

A very exciting opportunity for a number ofFood Production Operativesto join our client within the Food Production industry at their site based in Shawbury, due to innovative new machinery, products and growth.

Working Hours are: Monday to Thursday 6am - 6pm with a 3 day weekend, every week!

The successful Food Production Operatives will be working on a new line in a fast-paced and busy food production environment working to create quick and easy, ready made and frozen single products ready to ship to major household names.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards throughout the production process.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Counting finished product and packing
• Detinning the product once cooked
• Working in a warm and comfortable environment as food cooks

Experience Requires

• At least 2 years Food Production/ manufacturing experience
• Food hygiene and safety level 2 is preferred

Pay

• £12.50 ph. paid weekly by Swift Temps Ltd

Own transport in the form of a motor vehicle is essential for this positiondue to a lack of public transport links in the area, own transport is required. This location is commutable from Telford, Shrewsbury, Newport, Wem and all other surrounding locations.
