Are you an experienced Administrator looking for a part time role, and able to commit to a 20 hour working week ? 

Would you like to work for an established, successful business operating within the Construction & Building Service sector ? 

The Opportunity 

To join a successful, national contractor, working within the Building Services sector, providing general administartive support to the Finance Director. Ideally you will have a basic understanding of accounts office processes, although training will be provided to the right applicant. 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • General office administration
  • Processing Engineers working hours through Sage
  • Dealing with suppliers & Subcontractors via phone and email
  • Processing of Purchase Ledger Invoices, including administration of Project Managers invoice authorisation routine
  • Statement Reconciliation
  • Assisting the Finance Director in preparation of regular Payment Runs
  • Issuing Sales invoices for Service and Maintenance projects
  • Processing Managers Credit Card receipts and expenses

The applicant will :

  • Be able to work 20 hours per week, across 3, 4 or 5 days per week.
  • Experience of working within a busy commercial office environment 
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft software
  • Self-motivation and capacity to work to deadlines and timescales
  • Organised approach and positive attitude including the ability to use own initiative
  • Excellent verbal, written and IT communication skills
