- To provide a high level of legal advice and assistance relating to Court of Protection matters to the clients of the firm.
- To provide litigation support, together with managing an independent caseload, some of which might include contentious Deputyship work.
- To provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients and family members, within the context of the Mental Capacity Act and other relevant legislation, supported by a Supervisor.
- To support the management of Property and Affairs Deputyships, working with brain injured and vulnerable clients, Personal Injury Trust creation and management, Welfare Deputyship applications and other associated applications to the Court of Protection.
- To draft letters and written submissions.
- To attend clients in their homes, at hospitals and care/nursing homes.
- Qualified Solicitor / Cilex
- Previous exposure and experience of working with vulnerable people.
- Under appropriate supervision experience of handling discrete matters
- Demonstrable experience of providing clients with quality advice and guidance.
