Estimator/ Quantity Surveyor role:
This developer is looking to appoint an Estimator/ Quantity Surveyor to head up the commercial function on a mixture of brand-new residential developments in the West Midlands. Projects BASED in Shrewsbury.
Responsibilities of Estimator/ Quantity Surveyor:
Conduct detailed take-offs and measurements from drawings and specifications.
Manage project costs, from initial calculations to final accounts
Ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
Communicate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing information.
Provide financial reporting, including cost control and cash flow forecasting.
Assist in contract negotiations and ensure compliance with contract terms.
Experience:
Experience as an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Ability to collaborate with different departments and work independently.
Used to manging relationships, subcontractor and reporting cost controls
