Loader & Picker

Cotteswold Dairy’s Shropshire Depot - based in Shrewsbury - are seeking a committed individual to join the team as a loader & picker working across the yard & warehouse.

We support local farmers and communities by delivering the freshest, finest quality products and first class customer service.

We are looking for efficient and reliable team members who can work accurately under pressure. This is a physical role, working both externally and in temperature controlled environments

Reporting to the Depot Manager, key duties include:

• Accurately picking customer orders from our chilled warehouse, paying close attention to stock rotation
• Loading lorries and vans in preparation for delivery, ensuring loads are suitably secured and following the company’s health and safety policies at all times
• Replenishment of stock, using the inventory management systems while ensuring the chilled warehouse remains safe, clean and secure at all times

You will demonstrate a positive, flexible attitude to work along with excellent problem-solving skills. You will be a confident communicator, dedicated to conducting your work to the highest standards and have a willingnessto take on tasks in all weathers

IMPORTANT - This physically active role requires manual handling

Full time, permanent, 45 hours per week over five days on a rota, Monday to Saturday. Where a Saturday is worked a day off in the week will be given.

1000 start until finish (start times can flex slightly)
