Think Community Partnership are seeking a skilled Handyperson to join a reputable Housing Association in Shrewsbury, providing essential maintenance services in key worker accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General maintenance across multiple properties
  • Minor repair works (e.g., patching walls, fixing doors, etc.)
  • Fire alarm testing and safety checks
  • Changing lightbulbs, fixtures, and fittings
  • Basic plumbing tasks (desirable, but not essential)
  • Responding promptly to maintenance requests from tenants
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and timely manner

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role (general repairs, maintenance)
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures
