We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientedResidential Property Lawyerto join our clients legal team in SY2. In this role, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of residential conveyancing, from the initial instruction to post-completion, ensuring a smooth transaction process for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages.
  • Conduct property searches, draft and review contracts, and provide legal advice to clients regarding property laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to facilitate the timely progression of transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in property transactions.
  • Negotiate terms and resolve any disputes that may arise during the transaction process.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation to the Land Registry and HMRC.
  • Handle client queries and provide regular updates on the progress of their transactions.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with experience in residential property law.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in case management systems and legal research tools.
