We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientedResidential Property Lawyerto join our clients legal team in SY2. In this role, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of residential conveyancing, from the initial instruction to post-completion, ensuring a smooth transaction process for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages.
- Conduct property searches, draft and review contracts, and provide legal advice to clients regarding property laws and regulations.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to facilitate the timely progression of transactions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in property transactions.
- Negotiate terms and resolve any disputes that may arise during the transaction process.
- Prepare and submit required documentation to the Land Registry and HMRC.
- Handle client queries and provide regular updates on the progress of their transactions.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with experience in residential property law.
- Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in case management systems and legal research tools.
