Senior Development Engineer - Shrewsbury (Hybrid) - Up to £44/hr - Inside IR35 - 12 month initial contract
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Senior Development Engineer to join a prestigious team in Shrewsbury, UK, working on interesting military programmes from NPI through to current in-use products.

What You Will Do:
- Lead planning and costing of verification and validation engineering programs.
- Create detailed test plans (DVP&R) for complex components and assemblies.
- Conduct rig/dyno tests and produce technical reports on findings.
- Perform complex data analysis on test results using both hand calculations and simulation software.
- Present findings in stakeholder reviews across various departments.
- Provide guidance to less experienced engineers and communicate technical information effectively.
What You Will Bring:
- An accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a development engineer role, with a focus on engine, transmission, or driveline development.
- Experience in product testing of components or complete assemblies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills on complex products or systems.
- Data analysis/Problem solving ability. Analytical skillset – Understanding and reducing data in an efficient manner.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
