Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter with conventional / manual machining skills looking for a new challenge? This company is looking for a meticulous and motivated individual to join their team in Telford. As an Electrical Mechanical Fitter, you will have the opportunity to work on complex special purpose machinery and contribute to the company's goals and values.
What You Will Do:- Assemble special purpose machinery
- Follow strict operating procedures
- Conduct mechanical and electrical tests
- Make minor adjustments to mechanical components using milling, turning, and grinding machines
- Fault find and troubleshoot on electrical systems
- Use a wide range of hand tools to include pneumatic
- Proven experience of operating in a machine build, system build, mechanical assembly environment
- Able to use milling, turning, or grinding machines to make minor adjustments to components
- Competent in panel wiring, basic electrical fault finding
- Conduct mechanical and electrical test utilizing special purpose equipment
This role will suit engineers with experience in mechanical fitting, electrical fitting, maintenance engineering, service engineering or ex Military or REME or tool making
This role is situated in the manufacturing industry and requires level 3 engineering qualification.
