Job Summary:The Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated Band 5 Theatre Nurse to join our surgical team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment in the operating theatre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing the operating theatre and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Provide care to patients before, during, and after surgery, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care and support.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to post-operative assessments.
Key Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Experience in a theatre environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing situations.
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and safety.
